Medium-large female with nice bone and lovely head type. She has very dark eyes and perfect ear set. Tarja is a very strong and dominant female. Though she is social with people and other dogs, and totally safe out in public. One of the most environmentally confident dogs I've seen. No issues with new places, loud sounds, or strange flooring. 
Tarja has extreme prey and food drive, very high hunt drive and is highly possessive of her things without being aggressive to her handler. Absolutely no handler sensitivity and works nicely for a ball or food. She is the type of dog that would do just about anything for a single piece of kibble! 
In protection, Tarja is nicely balanced between prey and defensive drives. She also has easy access to aggression and can be a little spicy! She handles pressure from the helper with ease and just fights harder. Incredibly strong gripping on the sleeve with quick targeting, and strong jumping ability. 
Tarja is mid-high energy but is a surprisingly easy dog to live with in normal life. She has a wonderful off-switch, and is very quiet in the house and crate. She's a great car rider and a naturally clean dog. She is not a nuisance barker and settles quickly. 

I expect Tarja to produce extremely nice dogs for both IGP sport and police type service work, as well as SAR homes. Her first litter overseas produced several active police k9's.
